To avoid scams when selling/buying characters, every sell must be communicated to the HGMs.
A staff member will then verify the proceedings to make sure both parties are protected.

The staff member will reply allowing the transfer or pointing out the inconsistencies if any.
Once allowed, the buyer should pay the agreed price.
After receiving the payment, the seller should pay the transfer fee.
Once the transfer fee is paid by the seller, the character will be transfered.
These guidelines only apply if you are selling and buying through paypal (which is recommended).
