Okay, so within The 4th Coming are lots of items.
Little bits and pieces that seem to have no relevance to the hacking 'n'
slashing of critters.
You're right! Many of them have absolutely no relevance, but.......... lots of them do.
So this list is fairly basic and just provides a place that contains all the items that Vayle knows about and links them to the places where they are found and the characters that can use them.
A point to note about armour is that most armour items have a decimal value. ie 1.2 or 1.8 or 4.4. In each case the decimal portion is only recognised when the total of all the decimal values add to a whole number or in other words the AC is always rounded down to the nearest whole number. ie if you have 3 armour items being worn, and they are 1.2, 1.3, and 1.4 in value, the total AC is 3.9 but you will only get the effect of an AC 3.
I have added a lot of items and have not had time to fully 'flesh-out' the details. It will happen, really soon.... no really it will...

| Diamond Necklace | 29 for both Int & Wis is required to wear this. It adds 5 to both those characteristics. | |

| Elixir of Purity | An Aqua coloured potion. It's used to cure people sick of goblin fever in the Dorken Rotsmell quest. | |

| Feather | 0gp | Used as a component of a Runic Scripting Kit. Apparently obtained from goblins and chests. V1.03 has seen a marked increase in the availability of feathers. Recommended to try Reynen AspicDart's chest to be sure of getting one. |
| Flask of Bluish Liquid | 0gp | Obtained from Dunikus Hornwind in exchange for a pink leaf and an apple. This flask can be used only by clicking it from within your backpack. It provides the equivalent of 5 full heal potions. To use it efficiently, open your satchel andmove the potion to the bottom right hand corner of the satchel (move other stuff out of the way first). Next, drag your satchel up to the top left hand corner of your screen so that only the bottom right hand corner (and the pot) is visible. The bulk of your satchel will actually be 'off-screen'. This allows you to go into battle with the 'reserve' potion availble without needing to stop and open your satchel and locate the potion when you are rapidly being mauled by a critter or two. This is also required as a part of the Zhakar's Key Quest and is called a Flask of Ether. |

Found in every players Satchel or Back Pack and cannot be removed. The Gem will transport the character from the field of battle if the characters hit points (the red bar) drops to or below zero. Effectively a character never dies but will lose some points and items as a result. In each Temple of Artherk is a disciple who will repond to the key word of 'sanctuary'. A tithe will be required to change the sanctuary location. The Word of Recall spell allows the caster to travel back to their nominated sanctuary. In WindHowl Brother Harforr in the temple is the one to ask and the fee will be 5,000 gold. In SilverSky speak with Brother Thorkas, who will ask for 15,000 gold. |

These gems are related to a quest from Dunikus Hornwind. Details to be added. The gems are drops from monsters. Thanks to Logain & Dee for information below which we think is accurate. Blue is from Minotaur Shamans, Red is from Demon Trees, Green is from Rogue Mages, and Yellow from Blackguards. However, Vayle has killed many blackguards (like 100's) and has yet to get a yellow. Maybe there is a Karma link or something for the drops. | |

In any case it is obtained from Iraltok in the LightHaven Mage Tower in exchange for Yellow Powder, a Vial of Spider Venom, a Flask of Goblin Blood, a Diamond, a Feather, and 1,000gp. It will allow you to get a mage in WindHowl to create blank magic scrolls. |
